Now, the streaming giant has hinted that a third season is on the way, which will be the series’ finale. It’s expected to happen in 2025.
This South Korean series tells the story of a group of desperate people who take part in a series of dangerous children’s games in order to win big money. Participants gamble with their lives.
Several familiar faces will return for Season 2, including Lee Jung-jae, Lee Byung-hun, Gong Yoo and Wi Ha-joon. Netflix said the season was also filmed in South Korea.
– Director Hwang Dong Hyuk said in a 2023 interview with the streaming giant, “I will make sure it’s worth the wait.”
