From this evening, emergency cases at Koumak and Poindimiere hospitals are closed overnight. In Lifou, hospitalizations and emergencies are transferred to We. The North Province opens registration for school scholarships for first and second level students.

Adaptive care

  • Courmar and Pontimier were unable to get emergency care during the night

  • In Lifou, Chepenykh Medical Center will reschedule hospitalizations and emergencies

There will not be enough doctors at the Chepenych Medical Center in Lifou. Therefore, starting Saturday morning and until further notice, all hospitalizations and emergencies will be directed to the Wé Medical Center.
