Damascus (for you) – Syria expressed condolences and grief for the casualties caused by the collapse and landslides in Kerala, India, and stressed that they are united with the friendly Indian government and people and wish a speedy recovery of the situation.
“The Syrian Arab Republic expresses its deep sorrow over the loss of life caused by the collapse and landslides yesterday in the Indian state of Kerala, which killed more than 40 people and caused many injuries,” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said in a statement today.
The Ministry of External Affairs continued: “While expressing condolences and sincere sympathy to Syria, we reiterate our stance and solidarity with India and its friendly people and wish a speedy recovery to the injured.”
