Local ice cream maker Caribbean Cream said its profits increased for the financial year ending February.
The company, which does business as Kremi, posted a profit of 36.7 million Jamaican dollars after tax in audited financial statements released on Monday through the Jamaica Stock Exchange.
That’s more than the previous year’s revenue of $27 million.
Cremmie said this was helped by higher revenues of J$2.6 billion, up 5% from J$2.5 billion in the fiscal year ending February 2023.
The improved performance came despite higher spending during the year.
