Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said today at a meeting of members of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Rivne Region that more air defense systems will arrive in Ukraine in August, September and October, Ukrainian News reported.
He stressed that the priority was to protect the country’s industrial and economic centers.
“Thanks to our work and our partners, we are increasing the number of Patriot systems, as well as other systems. So we will continue to work in this direction. In August, September and October, air defense systems will arrive in our country,” Zelensky said.
More than 120 people, including government officials, local authorities, business and bank representatives, attended the MPs’ meeting to discuss defense, regional cooperation, arrangements for school shelters and the energy sector.
