Teona Akubadiyya announced that Denmark has started a review of bilateral relations with Georgia.
According to him, Denmark stopped supporting the new plan and “four years of military cooperation with Georgia”.
According to the MP, the budget is DKK 71.5 million.
Teona Akubardia stated that the reason for the termination of cooperation was the adoption of the Russian law.
Today I would like to introduce to you the letter from the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs regarding Denmark’s revision of relations with Georgia, which directly stated that Denmark has begun to revise its bilateral relations with Georgia after the EU decision. Denmark has also suspended some planned activities with the Georgian government and support for new programs, and suspended the four-year military cooperation with Georgia that began last year, which had a budget of 71.5 million Danish kroner. At the same time, according to the letter, Denmark calls on the Georgian government to return to the Euro-Atlantic path and follow the EU reform agenda, which is the basis for strong bilateral relations between Denmark and Georgia,” said Akubadiyya.
