The stock markets of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries had mixed performances on Monday. In the UAE, the Abu Dhabi Market Index rose 0.35% to 9,278.92 points, while the Dubai Market Index fell 0.04% to 4,179 points.
The Saudi Stock Exchange’s main market index, TASI, fell 0.23% to 12,174.76 points, with a turnover of 8.3 billion riyals. The stock trading volume was 439 million shares.
The Kuwait General Market Index rose 0.64% to 7,117.62 points. The stock trading volume reached 143.5 million shares worth 35.8 million dinars through 10,783 cash transactions.
The Bahrain General Index rose 1% to 1,979.88 points, with trading volume reaching 2.135 billion shares with a total value of 688,639 dinars, executed through 87 transactions.
The Qatar Stock Exchange Index rose 0.60% to 10,120.68 points, with market trading volume reaching approximately 306 million riyals.
The Muscat Stock Exchange 30 Index fell 1.10% to 4,631.43 points. The turnover reached 4.59 million riyals.
Outside the Gulf region, the Egyptian Stock Exchange’s main index (EGX 30) rose 0.73% to 28,992.34 points.
