The other day the Íslandsmót for children and youth equestrian sports took place in Mosfellsbær, where the Skagfirðingur Equestrian Association had some great representatives who performed very well. In the children’s category there was a representative, Emma Rún Arnardóttir, and in the youth category there were Greta Berglind Jakobsdóttir, Hjördís Halla Þórarinsdóttir and Súsanna Guðlaug Halldórsdóttir.

Children’s category:

Charging T3: Emma Rún Arnardóttir and Tenór from Litla-Sandvík scored 6.44 points and finished fifth in the Group A final.

Quad Core V2: Emma Rún Arnardóttir and Tenór from Litla-Sandvík won the bronze medal in the four-person B final with 6.50 points.

Quality competition: Emma Rún Arnardóttir and Suðri from Gljúfurárholt scored 8.36 points.

Junior Group:

Load T1: Hjördís Halla Þórarinsdóttir and Flipi from Bergsstaður made it to the B final with 6.83, Greta Berglind Jakobsdóttir and Hágangur from Miðfell 2 won 6.23, and Súsanna Guðlaug Halldórsdóttir and Ronja from Ríp 2 won 6.13.

Quad Core V1: Hjördís Halla Þórarinsdóttir and Flipi from Bergsstaður got 6.23 and Greta Berglind Jakobsdóttir and Hágangur from Miðfell 2 got 5.87.

flight duration: Hjördís Halla Þórarinsdóttir from Lund and Gullbrá ran 8.37 seconds (8th place).

Quality competition: Súsanna Guðlaug Halldórsdóttir and Ronja from Ríp 3 came first in the preliminaries with 8.51 points, but in the final they finished sixth with 8.52 points. Greta Berglind Jakobsdóttir and Hágangur from Miðfell 2 made it to the final with a cool score of 8.41.

Quality Tools: Súsanna Guðlaug Halldórsdóttir and Ronja of Ríp 3 won the silver medal with 8.64 points.
