Historic. That’s how Guatemala described the news that 41-year-old Chapin shooter Jean Pierre Brol won bronze in the Olympic pit event at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
It happened at the Chateauroux shooting center in France, and Broer surprised everyone with his performance, knocking down 122 of 125 plates in qualifying and 35 of 40 plates in the final.
Twelve years after Eric Barrondo won a historic silver medal in London, Guatemala celebrated a new Olympic medal.
