The Federal Capital Territory Police spokesperson, Josephine Adeh, has called on men to take note of the increasing number of heartbreaks among women.
In a post on X, the PPRO, who unexpectedly took on the role of relationship counsellor, expressed her disappointment over the increasing number of men who seduce women only to let them down in the end. She said her office has received numerous calls from heartbroken women who have shared their painful experiences.
She wrote: “Seducing a woman and then breaking her heart is disgusting. Men do it with such frequency it’s sad. Most of the calls I’ve received lately have been women in tears telling of their experiences.
“Men, if you don’t want a serious relationship, don’t start one.”
Her post predictably went viral, attracting a ton of comments, likes and shares.

@kinsgley_ukoma wrote: “Police are turning to relationship coaches. Or are you looking for engagement?”
@BigSam442275721 added: “Most women today just want to get something for nothing. Imagine! They all want to marry Davido, Kidwaya, Seyi Tinubu, Wizkid etc. Most of these rich guys’ moms married their husbands when they had nothing.”
Bright Edafe (@Brightgoldenboy), PPRO of Delta State, also commented: “I feel like women have too high expectations of relationships. Most women are not ready to commit to a man. Secondly, if you are in a relationship with a Yahoo boy, forget it, you are single. Also, you know I can’t break your heart.”
