Tazabek – The amount of funds allocated for the construction and renovation of electricity, gas, steam and air-conditioning supply facilities from January to June 2024 will increase by 1.9 times compared to January to June 2023. This is stated in the materials of the National Statistics Committee.
At the same time, the investment volume mainly comes from foreign investment, corporate and organizational funds and the republic’s budget (94.8%).
From January to June 2024, 18 10/4kV complete substations, 0.4kV-9.0km power lines and 34.5MVA hydropower stations were put into operation.
Investment in the construction of water supply, waste treatment and disposal facilities increased by 1.6 times. Funding comes from the funds of enterprises and organizations, republican and local budgets, foreign grants and humanitarian aid, as well as funds and charitable assistance from the people of the Kyrgyz Republic.
