Baku, Azerbaijan, July 26. Georgian company Sakaeronavigatsiya has announced a tender for the construction of a new radar station, which will be located near the village of Ninotsminda in Kakheti. trend report.

It is understood that the cost of the project, including construction, equipment and access arrangements, is 7.2 million Lari (about 2.6 million US dollars).

Another radar station is reportedly being built to cope with the increase in air traffic. Last year, the average use of Georgian airspace reached 637 passengers per day.

It is worth noting that Sakaeronavigatsiya provides air traffic services and flight safety for Georgian airspace.
