An officer of the Ukrainian Armed Forces said that the southern direction is important for the Russians due to the logistical links between Crimea and the Donetsk region.
“The Russians have enough resources to carry out offensive operations in the south, and I personally believe that there are quite serious risks here, because this is a very important region for them, and the enemy will not allow under any circumstances to reduce the corridor of logistical disruptions with Crimea, and therefore he will try to expand it,” stressed Maxim Zorin.
The serviceman also said that the Russians are now replenishing their forces in the Kharkiv region mainly with “naked” infantry.
“That is, some command of the advancing brigade or division remains, and a few infantry battalions are added to it and immediately sent out to attack,” he explained.
At the same time, the Ukrainian Armed Forces major noted that the more important problem for Ukrainians is not the Russian infantry, but the enemy’s extensive use of airdrops.
