The anti-corruption unit has accepted corruption complaints against three members of the presidential commission.

After three of the nine presidential advisers were indicted for corruption, the Director-General Super Gas Company Stringent measures were taken. An inquiry committee consisting of experienced experts was set up to look into the matter.

According to information we have, three presidential advisers demanded a huge sum of 100 million gourdes from Raoul Pierre Louis, chairman of the board of directors of the Bank of National Credit, on the condition that he continue to serve as president of the commercial bank.

One of the advisers involved in the scandal, who was already the subject of corruption allegations for the position of prime minister, had in fact tried to negotiate with a contender for the post, which was eventually won by Gary Cornell.

This revelation created a real scandal around the institution that governs the country, forcing the public to express outrage at such behavior. The media reported on the incident, putting pressure on the authorities to expose this corruption.
