Farida Mahama, the daughter of former President John Dramani Mahama and former First Lady Lordina Mahama, celebrated her 17th birthday on Tuesday, July 16, 2024.
Her latest video shows that she is enjoying the privilege of being the daughter of a former president.
Some barbers and manicurists saw Farida enjoying her house calls.
A few years ago, John Mahama made it clear that Farida did not have a Facebook account.
In a statement from the NDC 2020 flag bearer’s office signed by his special assistant, Joyce Bawah Mogtari, he said the girl, who recently celebrated her 14th birthday, “does not have a Facebook account, nor has she or her parents approved the creation of a Facebook group in her name.”
“We have officially notified the existence of fake accounts in her name on Facebook, but the public is still advised to ignore all pages and groups that post and comment in the name of Farida Mahama,” Mahama said.
He added: “The Instagram page @farida_mahama_ set up by the same scammers in the name of Farida is also fake.”
Mr Mahama warned the general public to “refrain from any further interaction with the account if they believe it is that of Farida Dramani Mahama”.
