The “Blue Screen of Death” has swept computers around the world that have downloaded the latest update of the Microsoft “Windows” program, causing panic in several sectors of the globalized economy. This blue screen does not require turning off the device and restarting it, nor does it require removing the battery and putting it back. Microsoft Blue Screen means that the situation is hopeless. In fact, on Friday it was possible to determine who in the world paid dues to Microsoft and who got Microsoft’s programs in the form of pirated CDs from flea markets. The first suffered, while the second was “executed by his own feathers”. This time it was not a cyberattack, but a rehearsal for what could happen in the event of a large-scale cyberattack, and inevitably, as has been demonstrated throughout history, devices running Microsoft-supported products are the most vulnerable. Such an attack, in the end, leads to the blue screen of death. According to reports, the vulnerability of this technology appears in a period when there is a lot of discussion about the rise of the phenomenon of artificial intelligence due to a general wave of stupidity among the public.

Indeed, as time has passed, general stupidity has decreased, and science and knowledge have become more accessible than ever before. The dilemma today is what do we do with the remaining science and knowledge? Thirty years ago, Microsoft’s blue screen brought about a qualitative shift in the computer market, from operating programs that relied on written code to those that relied on mouse clicks on images and icons. Later, the emergence of the “blue website” brought about a qualitative shift in social communication. But just as their predecessors were ahead of them in creativity, the next generation is also ahead of them in creativity through the screen. Vance’s book celebrates personal success and blames the laziness of white Americans for their loss of global dominance. Neither the book nor the movie mentions the assumption that Vance is black and his chance to achieve the American dream. In one scene in the film, a funeral passes through the village, people stand up to salute the procession, and the actor who plays Guy DeVance says: “We, the people of the mountains, respect our dead.” This scene is perhaps the most realistic expression of the current American scene. In the United States, blue symbolizes the Democratic Party, and red belongs to Trump, Vance and their supporters.
In Western written literature, noble blood is attributed to kings and their children. In politics, the millions of liters of red blood we have shed on this earth are not worth a single drop of blue blood from the whites. This is our reality today. In the film promoting Jay D. Vance and his American Dream, Angel Gabriel, the guardian of elite universities, says that Vance is “from another planet, not the rednecks he is used to”. That other planet is Trump’s product, outside the traditions of the party of the system. Trump is a film and television graduate, and so is Vance. Whoever confronts them, if they have a chance to turn the tables, they will resort to the same screen. The red screen is filled with drops of blood flowing from the ears of the living martyr Donald Trump. What will occupy the blue blood screen?
