On Saturday, July 20, 2024, the Chief Executive Officer of End Point Homeopathic Clinic, Dr. Adu Boateng, handed over a 5-bedroom staff bungalow rebuilt at the clinic to the Ghana National College, Cape Coast as part of the clinic’s corporate social responsibility.

The bungalow was presented to the college on behalf of End Point Homeopathic Clinic by Dr. Adu Boateng, who graduated from the Ghana National College in 2001. The handover coincided with the 76th anniversary celebrations of the school.

During the handover, Dr. Adu Boateng said: “As old students of the Ghana National College, my team and I thought it was a wise move to heed the call of the college to rebuild this bungalow to provide comfortable accommodation for the hard-working staff.”

“I owe much of where I am today to the solid foundation that the Ghana National College laid in me. It is therefore a great pleasure for me to give back to the school that helped me reach such heights,” added Dr. Adu Boateng.

The National College of Ghana was founded on July 20, 1948 in Cape Coast by the first President of Ghana, Osajeev Kwame Nkrumah, with personal funds, with the aim of promoting Ghana’s independence from colonial rule.

When the school was first established, there were 17 students, including 16 boys and 1 girl. The first student was Professor Francis Kofi Ampenyi Allotey, a famous mathematician and physicist.
