Kyrgyzstan women’s volleyball team (U-20) won first place in the Central Asian Volleyball Association Championship held in Male, Maldives. In this competition, the game was played by four teams in a circle.

In the first and second rounds, the domestic athletes defeated the Maldives and Nepal teams with a score of 3:0. In the next round, they lost to Sri Lanka with a score of 2:3.

In the semi-finals, Kyrgyzstan defeated Nepal for the second time with a score of 3:0, entered the final, avenged Sri Lanka and became the champion of this tournament.

  • Best Blocker: Sekar Amilashulova;

The national team participated in the competition under the leadership of head coach Kursantbek Ulanbek Ulu.
