Irapuato, Mexico – The Honduras U-20 team defeated El Salvador 4-1 at the Sergio Leon Chavez Stadium in Irapuato, Mexico, thanks to braces from defender Anferonite Tatum and forward Derek Moncada.
El Salvador started to win thanks to a goal from Nelson Diaz, but then had disastrous goals from Angel Villatoro, Derek Moncada and Anferonite Tatum.
The team led by Emilson Soto has four points from two games, with their debut being a 2-2 tie with Canada.
