Who and if anyone planned to liquidate Bidzina Ivanishvili? — It turned out that the National Security Service was investigating the possible liquidation of the honorary chairman of the Georgian Dream and the leader of the Dream.

Those who participated in the investigation of the alleged coup were asked exactly the same questions. The agency is developing a version according to which Ivanishvili was ambushed and then a plan was made to blow him up.

Recently, Gela Kakhabrishvili, a veteran who testified in court to SUS investigators, was also asked about the possible neutralization of the honorary chairman of “Otsne”.

Kakhablishvili returned to Georgia two months ago. He was seriously injured in Ukraine and is currently undergoing rehabilitation. Before Ukraine, he was a veteran of the Abkhaz War and participated in the August War.

The veteran stated directly that the case he was asked to investigate was ridiculous.

It’s all ridiculous. They list several, but there’s more than one about Bidzina Ivanishvili. It’s amazing, when did that fighter do something. It’s bullying ab boys or something. Why do they come to me when I sit at home and do nothing? Why was I not in danger in Abkhazia when I took part in the August War? – said Kakhablishvili.

Kakhablishvili’s lawyers believe the authorities are using the case to impose political restrictions ahead of the election.

When it is said that this terrorist act is a liquidation of certain senior politicians, according to this statement, it should be investigated very objectively, but it should not be used for certain political restrictions before the elections, because of opposition and speaking out, because so maybe someone decided because I have a different opinion, they come and tell me, let’s assume that you are the co-chairman or chairman of the Global War Party. This is unacceptable, said lawyer Mikhail Ramishvili.

In the event of an alleged coup, the Security Council has interviewed or summoned Georgians fighting in Ukraine: Nadim Khmaladze, Vazha Tsatsadze, Lasha Chigladze, Beso Bendeliani and Konstantine Jghamaya.

The National Security Agency has not yet made any further statement on the case.
