President Bashar al-Assad stressed the social and development role of Arab organizations and alliances and their importance in establishing effective dialogue within Arab societies that share similar values and aspirations.
Receiving a delegation from the Arab Union of Engineers, President Assad stressed the importance of activating dialogue, especially social dialogue, since society is the basis of everything, apart from the lack of applied ideology, and pointed out the necessity for the Arab League to develop practical policies, formulate strategic projects and achieve comprehensive development.
President Assad stressed the importance of upholding identity, a fundamental factor in the unwavering fight of the Palestinian people in the face of their Israeli enemies, stressing the choice of resistance to enemy massacres, adding that despite all the suffering, the cohesion, strength and belief in its cause of Palestinian society are growing in exchange for the disintegration of the Israeli physical society in all its aspects.
For their part, the members of the delegation headed by Adel Haditi stressed the need to restore joint Arab action through development projects and unify efforts and concepts through the sharing of experiences and exchange of expertise in order to achieve results in a practical and purposeful manner.
