American businessman and billionaire Elon Musk, one of the richest men in the world, said his company Tesla, which produces electric cars, will start producing humanoid robots.

“Tesla hopes robots will help build its cars more efficiently, perform complex tasks and alleviate labor shortages,” Musk said.
According to him, the robots initially produced will be for internal use within the company. Musk stressed that serial production will begin no earlier than 2026.
He noted that the robots will cost less than $20,000 and will offer communications capabilities as well as safety measures to monitor what is happening in production.
Previously, Musk said there would be 1 billion humanoid robots on Earth by 2040. David Holtz, founder of Midjourney Neural Networks, added that by the 2060s, there would be another 100 billion robots in the solar system.
