It’s been seven years since Ridley Scott’s last spinoff alienoriginally published in 1979: Alien Contract. That movie is a “second prequel,” a sequel to the origin story. Prometheusand it was thought that a third film would follow. But that did not happen; possibly due to the disappointing success of those films. The new film is in alien-series, Alien: Romulusplacing itself in the timeline between the first film and its sequel (alien from 1986). A new trailer has been released for it.
The film was directed by Fede Alvarez, who also evil Dead exist Don’t Breathe As such, his status as a horror director is in full play. The trailer also seems to be using the sinister, eerie atmosphere of Alvarez’s previous films to build interest in the film. Of course, we hope that the film itself lives up to those expectations.
