ADT Strike

Tahiti, July 21, 2024 – Finally, there were no negotiations this Sunday between the union and the general manager of Tahiti Airport. The union pointed the finger at ADT, accusing it of not confirming the meeting, which ADT made sure it did. Therefore, the strike took effect from midnight on Monday morning.

Finally, the negotiations planned for this Sunday morning between the General Manager of ADT and the unions composed of CSTP-FO, CSIP, Otahi and O oe to oe rima, did not take place after the notice of strike submitted last Tuesday and expired at midnight this Monday. On Friday, just when the negotiations with the management of ADT were entered, the union members were already in the hall of the airport due to the absence of the director. It was then planned to meet with him this Sunday.

Representatives of CSTP-FO and CSIP’s Cyril Le Gayic were present this Sunday, but the latter assured: “Meeting postponed” because there’s none “confirm” ADT management has sent it to them.”We agreed to meet at 9:30 this morning on the condition that we received confirmation that the general manager would be there. But we never got confirmation of that.” assured Cyril Le Gayic, who, according to him, was warned by the deputies. “Out of respect for the union, at least send an email to the general secretary saying the CEO has arrived and please confirm the appointment at 9:30 a.m.” So he decided to leave and not come back in the afternoon.
