The General Statistics Office of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has announced the total number of pilgrims in the year 1445 AH.
The authorities confirmed in an official statement that the number of pilgrims reached 1,833,164 male and female pilgrims, of which 1,611,310 came from outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, while the number of pilgrims from within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia reached 221,854.
Authorities noted that the number of male pilgrims reached 958,137 and the number of female pilgrims reached 875,027.
The proportion of pilgrims from Arab countries reached 22.3%, pilgrims from non-Arab Asian countries reached 63.3%, pilgrims from non-Arab African countries reached 11.3%, and pilgrims from Europe, North America and South America reached 3.2%. Australia.
The General Bureau of Statistics of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia said that 1,546,345 pilgrims went to perform the Hajj by air, 60,251 by land and 4,714 by sea.
