If the election were held today, only three in ten people would go to the polls, according to a survey by Policité and Internews, the results of which were announced on July 15 in Port-au-Prince.
One of the reasons why people are not interested in voting is the issue of insecurity.
Another important factor is distrust. Only two percent of people trust the electoral system.
