Ticketmaster is investigating a possible security breach after hacker group ShinyHunters claimed to have data on 560 million users of the ticket-buying platform.
According to specialized portals such as Hackread and CyberDaily, ShinyHunters sold 1.3TB of data on the forum, which contained information on 560 million Ticketmaster users, including everything from email addresses and phone numbers to sales details and some bank card data.
A spokesperson for the Australian Department of Home Affairs confirmed to the ABC that Ticketmaster and the Australian Department of Home Affairs are currently investigating the incident.
