The Vodafone Fiji XV team will undergo seven weeks of training in preparation for the WXV3 Championships in Dubai.

The tournament is an important lead-up to the 2025 Women’s Rugby World Cup.

The team had a break after the 64-5 loss to the Wallaroos but are now ready for training camp. The seven-week training session will be key to their success in WXV3 and build a solid foundation for the upcoming World Cup.

Fiji has racked up four impressive wins so far, qualifying for the Rugby World Cup and WXV3, and finishing a commendable 14th in the World Rugby Rankings.

“The team has shown tremendous growth and resilience and we are eager to see how we measure up against some of the big nations in the run-up to the tournament. We look forward to WXV3 being a key part of our preparations for the 2025 Rugby World Cup,” said Alana Thomas, Fiji Women’s Rugby High Performance Manager.

The team, coached by Moses Lauroy, will play its first match against Hong Kong on September 28. They will then face Pacific rivals Samoa on October 5 and Spain on October 12.

The DTE will begin in Nadi on July 22 and ahead of that, the players are undergoing individual training.
