Parisian coffee and confectionery brand Ladurée, which has several locations in Manhattan, is coming to the Garden State with a July 26 opening inside Short Hills Shopping Center.
Founded in 1862, Ladurée is known around the world for its macarons and unique lattes. The brand has five stores in New York City, but is hard to find elsewhere in the area.

“Whether you’re stopping by for a coffee while shopping, treating yourself to a dessert for lunch, or purchasing a gift box for a loved one, Ladurée brings a touch of Paris to your doorstep,” the store reads in an invitation to its upcoming New Jersey store, located on the ground floor of Short Hills Mall, near Neimus Marcus.

In addition to macarons, Ladurée also offers ladyfingers, whose chocolate shell envelops a molten center delicately placed on a crispy cake. Their signature lattes include raspberry, rose, lychee, and other hard-to-find varieties to add a fun twist to desserts.
The Ladurée brand is the iconic name behind the first French tea room that opened more than 160 years ago. When fully operational, their Short Hills location will be the company’s 14th store operated in the United States.
