The Institute of Tourism Studies (ITS) has said it will accept applications for combined courses in Malta and Gozo until 12 August.
ITS offers a range of courses designed to turn your passion into a successful career. Courses range from foundation level (MQF Level 2) to Masters degree (MQF Level 7).
ITS explains that these include, but are not limited to, event management, housekeeping, food and beverage management, travel and tourism, culinary arts, climate-friendly travel, tour guiding, international hotel management, dive safety management, heritage interpretation and MBA programs.
ITS emphasizes its commitment to practical and hands-on learning. Students benefit from facilities such as professional kitchens, training restaurants, and hospitality laboratories. ITS courses also combine local industrial trade practice and international internship trade practice to provide valuable industry practical experience before graduation. This practical training gives students a competitive advantage in the job market.
Taking into account the challenges that potential students may be experiencing at the moment with employment or family matters, ITS offers flexible study options for many of its courses. Students can study online for the MBA in International Hospitality Management, the MA in Heritage Interpretation and the Diploma in Climate-Friendly Travel.
Additionally, the BSc in Diving Safety Management and the Higher National Diploma in Tourism Guidance are both available as full-time and part-time study options. This flexibility enables students to pursue further study without compromising existing commitments.
