Man charged with arson and violent disorder after Harley Hills unrest
A man has been charged with arson and violent disorderly conduct following a serious disturbance at a property Leeds suburb.
Iustin Dobre, 37, of Clifton Hill, Harleyhills, has been charged following a riot in Harleyhills, Leeds, on Thursday night, during which a bus was set ablaze. West Yorkshire Police explain.
He was charged with violent disorder and arson endangering life.

In another incident, a woman was released on bail after she “deliberately set fire” to a car with children inside
In a separate update, police said a car was “deliberately set on fire” with two children inside and a woman has been bailed “pending further enquiries”.
The incident happened on Tong Way in Leeds at around 10.52pm on Thursday, but it is not yet clear whether it is linked to the disturbances in the city that evening.
West Yorkshire Police said a woman called police to report her car had been deliberately set on fire with her two children inside.
She and a neighbor took the children to safety and they were checked by ambulance crews who found nothing wrong, police said.
A 19-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of arson in relation to the incident and has been bailed pending further inquiries.

One resident told of the “fear” and “worry” he felt when riots broke out in a Leeds suburb on Thursday.
Naseem Ashfaq told independent: “I live not far from where this happened on Thursday. It scares me. I’m over 60. I’ve never experienced anything like this before.
“Luckily I don’t have kids. Can you imagine what it would be like for them?
“It scares me to think about what’s going to happen next. Is it going to get worse? How far is it going to get? It’s really worrying.”
