A two-year-old girl is in a critical condition after she fell into a swimming pool at a Żebbuġ residence and swallowed water.
The police said in a statement that the incident took place in Triq il-Ħofra at 3:45 pm on Friday.
She received first aid at the scene and was rushed to Mater Dei Hospital.
Police are still investigating.
