Libreville, Friday, July 19, 2024 (Infos Gabon) – Last Wednesday, a communication and sharing session for media professionals took place at the Mindube Campus in Libreville.
The reception, organized by the Gabonese Patrons’ Circle of Private Online Press (CPPPL) in partnership with the EM University of Gabon, on the theme “Safety and protection of journalists in the performance of their duties”, was productive with the attendance of many professionals from the local media.
The latter, in order to better carry out their activities, considered it necessary to develop a collective agreement that would allow them to find solutions to the countless problems that inevitably slow down the optimal functioning of the industry.
Among them, participants pointed to the protection and safety of journalists, the creation of a substantial budget to ensure the survival of newspapers and online media, as well as the provision of advertising in audio-visual advertising.
