“It will be mandatory for companies with 200 or more employees and voluntarily for small and medium-sized enterprises, with incentives,” he said.

Minister of Women Antonia Orellana said: “In our country, the women’s movement has been demanding wage equality since 1906. Despite significant steps taken, we still have a gap of 25%, and in fact, the more specialized the women are, the greater the gap becomes. Therefore, it also threatens the development and productivity of our country.”
