The MYPErú National Procurement Program (PCMP), through the Leather and Footwear Procurement Executive Core (NEC), has launched an important call to suppliers of inputs and services used for the production of 614,646 school bags, within the framework of Legislative Decree no. 1414.
This initiative aims to promote the productive development and economic recovery of Micro and Small Enterprises (MYPE) throughout the country and suppliers of the leather and footwear sectors, giving them the opportunity to participate in the production of these essential items used in the education of thousands of children and girls in Peru.
MYPE Opportunities
This call is a great opportunity for MYPE as it will allow them to sign important contracts with the State for a total amount of S/37,493,406, which will allow them to strengthen their capacities, create new jobs and contribute to the economic growth of the country.
Required supplies and services
Suppliers interested in participating in this solicitation must be able to produce or provide the following inputs and services:
· Mainly supply: nylon cloth, lining cloth, mesh cloth.
· Supplies: ribbons, closures, cords, elastic, foam, buckles, labels, etc.
· Organizing supplies: bags and boxes.
· Services: Fabric cutting and embroidery.

Interested suppliers can submit their applications at the NEC Cuero y Calzado office located at Av. República de Panamá N° 3418 – San Isidro from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on July 18 and 19.
