(CNS) Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed or has information regarding a murder that occurred on Short Lane, Windsor Park, Georgetown on Sunday morning. Police arrived at the scene around 9:30 a.m. and found a man unconscious with a stab wound to his abdomen. He has been identified as Rodney Anthony Rivers (59) of Georgetown.
Police arrested a 51-year-old man from Georgetown at the location on suspicion of murder. The man remains in custody and the murder investigation is ongoing.
Police are asking anyone who was in the area before 9:30 a.m. on Sunday, July 14, who saw anything suspicious or has any information about the incident, to contact the RCIPS Critical Incident Room at 649-2930.
