Derry City suffered a heavy defeat in European competition on Thursday night as they lost to Bruno’s Magpies in extra time and failed to qualify for the Europa League.
Derry levelled the aggregate score at 2-2 thanks to goals from Mark Connolly and Pat Hoban, but Adam O’Reilly was sent off before half-time.
The visiting Gibraltar team scored in extra time to secure their promotion.
