South Korea’s Samsung Electronics announced that it has acquired Oxford Semantic Technologies, a British startup engaged in the development of technology that can be used for more complex artificial intelligence (AI) applications.
Samsung said Oxford Semantic Technologies specializes in knowledge graph technology, which stores information as an interconnected network of related concepts and processes data in a way similar to human memory and reasoning, and can be used to improve personalized AI applications such as on-device AI on Samsung phones.
