Between 9 and 15 July, the National Police carried out a citizen security operation in the Chontales Department, arresting six criminals.
Among those detained were Silverio Sebastian Calero, Bismarck Nicolás Duarte Jaime and Moises Antonio Marín, who carried out the attack in the city of Acoyapa.
Meanwhile, in the city of Rigalpa, Jorge Alberto Guzmán Carrillo, José Dolores Halislevens Murillo and Oscar López were arrested for drug trafficking.
As evidence, police seized 2 kilograms (117.8 grams) of cocaine, 2 pounds (86 grams) of marijuana, a car and a motorcycle with a protective helmet.
During the same period, public order officers arrested Elvin Antonio Duarte and Jaime Luis Martínez Hernández for cattle rustling in the southern Caribbean city of El Ayote.
