It will be difficult for Ukraine to avoid a fourth wave of the coronavirus pandemic in the fall.

Chief Medical Officer Ihor Kuzin made the announcement on TV channel 1+1, according to the TV news agency. Idiopathic poliovirus.

He said adaptive quarantine should be extended even though the coronavirus curve has flattened.

“The quarantine needs to be extended, but we are adjusting. Many countries are now relaxing restrictions, but no country has completely lifted them. Even if most measures to combat the coronavirus are lifted, at least indoor masks and social distancing will remain. Even with high vaccination rates in the United States, mask regulations will remain. This is a common practice,” Kuzin emphasized.

Although the Ministry of Health plans to vaccinate around 5 million citizens by the end of summer, the Chief Medical Officer expects a resurgence of the coronavirus in the fall.

“We know that acute respiratory viral infections occur mainly in late autumn and early winter. We hope that this wave will not be as severe as last autumn. This may be because some people are already sick while others have been vaccinated,” he said.
