FAA bans Boeing from further development – Economy

Scoffers will claim that David Calhoun himself was BoeingCalhoun almost never spends so much time at the group headquarters at one time – after all, he is known internally for shuttling between various residences and business meetings. But on Thursday, the Boeing boss and his management team disappeared into the conference room of Michael Whitaker, the head of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), for about three hours. Calhoun explained to state regulators how Boeing plans to address production quality problems and the resulting safety defects.
