Hackensack Meridian Medical School The university will honor 102 medical graduates at its June graduation ceremony.
Students in the HMSOM graduating class of 2024 have been accepted to top schools across the country. Students matched to majors including: Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Radiology (Diagnostic), Surgery, Neurology, Emergency Medicine, and Family Medicine.
There are 75 graduates in the Class of 2020 and another 27 starting the program in 2021, during a time when the coronavirus pandemic has caused staff shortages in hospitals across the country.
Despite the challenges of limited access to the medical profession, HMSOM has seen an increase in applicants and admissions since its inception. The School of Medicine’s inaugural class of 2018 consisted of 60 students. The most recent class of more than 160 students were admitted from a pool of more than 6,000 applicants.
The Royal Naval Academy of Performing Arts graduation ceremony will be held on June 6 at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark.
