The Pirate Party of Slovakia withdrew from the European Parliament elections in favor of the Democratic Party. She announced this on social networks.

“The elections to the European Parliament are as important for Slovakia as the elections to the National Assembly of the Slovak Republic, and perhaps even more important,” said party chairwoman Zuzana Šubová.
At the same time, she called on the party’s supporters, whether farmers, civil servants or ordinary citizens, to vote for the Democratic Party in the election, and the Democratic Party will also defend the Pirate Plan. “On Monday, at a joint press conference with the Democratic Party, we will announce the concrete steps of the next joint procedure,” Subova added.
