The suspected PS was arrested by Stootgroep-Oost at his home address in Melzog for violations of the Narcotic Drugs Act.
He was arrested after obtaining details of the PS’ involvement in drug trafficking.
Police raided his home several times, during which they found drugs and large amounts of money. These raids date back to October 12, 2022, and the most recent was on March 4, 2024.
During the most recent raid on Monday, July 15, a large number of kernels containing crack cocaine and a large amount of money were found in the possession of the suspects. The drugs were carefully hidden in the drain pipe of an outdoor toilet.
Drugs were seized and a large amount of cash was confiscated. The suspects along with the seized items were transferred to the Meerzorg Police Station for further investigation.
After the interrogation, the suspect was detained after consultation with a member of the prosecution service.
