Supreme Court lawyer and guitarist Stefán Ólafsson lives at Heiðarbraut 8 in Brondiós, but these days he spends most of his time working after a pleasant three-week summer vacation in Spain. What does he think he is going to do in Húnaväku?
“This time, I will be an active participant in Húnavákkún, but the party starts with a big concert by Slagarasveittin on Wednesday evening at 20:30 but I am singing while playing guitar. Then I will lead a group sing-along on Saturday’s rehearsal night. The rest has not yet been determined, but it is clear that Húnavakan is full of very interesting and fun activities.”
If Húnavakan were a sandwich, what would be between the slices of bread?? “Everything that can be stuffed into a good sandwich!”
What is the most memorable Huna Vigil? “For me, it was probably the first time I was in charge of singing on the slope, but the weather was particularly good and there was a large group of people actively participating in singing and having fun.”
How would you describe “Huna Vigil” in five words? “Interesting, fun, diverse, well-organized and full of energy.”
