Fiji Unit Trust has announced an increase in the dividend payout ratios of its Income & Growth Fund and Income Fund.
The Income & Growth Fund’s dividend payout rate was 3.75 cents per unit, totaling $5,773,512.
This rate is an increase from previous years, with the 2023 rate being 3.50 cents per unit and the 2022 rate being 3.25 cents per unit.
The Income & Growth Fund is UTOF’s premier investment vehicle, designed to provide long-term investors with biennial tax-free dividends and potential capital growth.
Also for the income fund, UTOF declared an annual dividend rate of 3% amounting to FJD 562,772.
This is an increase from the ADR rates of 2.75% in 2023 and 2.50% in 2022.
UTOF chairperson Lavinia Kaumaitotoya said the figures reflected their ongoing commitment to providing competitive returns to worthy investors.
“We are pleased to inform our unitholders that dividends totaling $6.3 million have been deposited into your investment accounts.”
