The incident happened just hours before Denmark announced its Olympic squad on Monday.

The reason is a video, which means Carina Cassøe Krüth has now been reported to the Danish Equestrian Association’s Disciplinary Committee.

– This video sequence is from a training session in February 2022 and shows a clear mistake on my part, for which I sincerely apologize as it certainly does not represent the way I train my horses.
The paragraph for which she was reported states, among other things, that “horse riding must not include mental or physical abuse or violence against the horse” and that “punishment and excessive correction” are prohibited.
