“For me, it’s not a big change, because I’m an investor here, and Karlo Ferenčak is in charge of management and creative work. He is, so to speak, the main actor of the beautiful Urania cinema. For now, the offer remains as it is, and by September we plan to launch new products, you can still drink Cogito coffee, we will maintain the quality of the coffee and maybe even add our specially made coffee. There are also plans to improve the quality of the brunch and offer a little fresh juice, Carlo will make his now famous kombucha, and on top of that, in addition to the evening cocktails, we plan to offer small snacks-type snacks,” reveals Marko Markota.

Of course, the most important part of the story is the cocktails, and since both Ferenčak and he are very happy with the space itself, among other things, they plan to create a themed cocktail menu, which will be inspired by the architecture. In addition, Markota told us that the plan is to establish contact with the team of the Urania Association.

“For example, they recently showed a Japanese film, so for the occasion, they made us three Japanese-inspired cocktails,” he added.

As Karlo Ferenčak is now the manager and partner of the new bar, it is reported that he is no longer part of the Noel restaurant team. Nevertheless, he still has a good relationship with the team there, so he plans to continue collaborating with Ivan Jugo through some other projects, with whom he had until recently collaborated on the opening of the new Noel Bread&Deli bakery and bar.

“We have big plans. After taking over this space we didn’t want to stop, we continue to work non-stop and September will be the month when we present something new and big,” said Marco Malcotta at the end of the conversation.
