Preliminary data released by the Central Bank of Jordan showed that revenues in June 2024 increased by 2.1% compared to the same month in 2023, reaching $642.9 million.
The central bank said in a statement that “in the first half of 2024, tourism revenues fell by 4.9% to $3.3 billion compared to the same period in 2023, due to a 7.9% drop in the number of tourists.”
