“I am leaving my position today and while I will remain with the Georgian Dream team, I will continue to serve my city and state in a different capacity. I have been a part of the management team since its inception and have worked in public service for over a decade in a variety of leadership roles, and this is the best opportunity to do good for our city over the years.

According to the current political situation, I will also engage in party activities and continue to work in Tbilisi. As you know, our country is facing a very important historical choice, that is why I will try to serve my country in a different way this time. I will continue to serve my motherland as a common soldier and let Georgia develop. Let us give our people, especially my beloved people of Kutaisi, the opportunity to live in peace.
